There are some projects that you just HAVE to talk about, and when I pulled up to 1045 Orion Avenue in Metairie this month, I knew this was going to be one of them. Every year, the various St. Jude Dream Homes stand as huge community achievements, and being asked to capture this one by St. Jude is a highlight for sure.
Every ticket for this home sold helps fund the life-saving work at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and at the end of the day a project like this is a reminder of why we love what I do. It’s about more than just high-end finishes and stunning custom work… it’s about the local trades, designers, and organizers who poured their hearts into these homes every year. Especially this one.
I’m honored to have captured 1045 Orion Avenue this year. It’s a beautiful house, but it’s an even better cause and we can’t wait to see who gets to call it home.
